Launch of the Keden System on April 11: Significant Delays in Customs Clearance Possible
Dear partners, we inform you of the launch on April 11 of the new Keden information system,
designed for customs clearance of goods in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Important: according to available information, errors and technical deficiencies were identified during system testing, which have not been fully resolved at this time.
Despite the official launch of the system, there is a high risk of unstable operation of certain functions,
errors in declaration submission, delays in data processing, as well as the need for corrections
and resubmission of documents.
On November 17, 2025, Joint Order No. 325-НҚ entered into force,
introducing a permit-based export procedure
for certain categories of goods from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The Order is applied within a pilot project and establishes the requirement
to obtain prior authorization from the authorized body
when exporting specified goods to CIS countries.
By Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 31, 2025, No. 1204, a list of medical goods, medicines, and components has been approved, for the sale and import of which a reduced VAT rate is applied.
